Xabier Uribe-Etxebarria

Xabi Uribe-Etxebarria (Algorta, 1981) is the founder and CEO of Sherpa.ai and one of Europe’s leading voices in artificial intelligence. For more than a decade, he has championed the development of transformative AI without compromising data privacy. Under his leadership, Sherpa.ai has been recognised by rankings such as Fortune AI 100 and CB Insights, and has attracted figures including Tom Gruber, co-founder of Siri; Joanna Hoffman, a former senior Apple executive; and Thomas Kalil, former White House Deputy Director for Technology and Innovation. Recognised by MIT Technology Review as one of the world’s leading innovators under 35, he was also included by El País in its “100 people of the year” list.
