Boa Mistura es un colectivo artístico multidisciplinario originario de Madrid. Fundado en 2001, el grupo se compone de cinco miembros que se conocieron mientras estudiaban Bellas Artes en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Su nombre, «Boa Mistura», proviene del portugués y significa «buena mezcla», lo que refleja la diversidad y colaboración que caracteriza su trabajo artístico.
Los miembros de Boa Mistura son Pablo Purón Carrillo, Javier Serrano Guerra, Juan Jaume Fernández, Pablo Ferreiro Mederos y Rubén Martín de Lucas.
El trabajo de Boa Mistura se centra en la transformación de los espacios urbanos a través del arte y la creatividad. Han llevado a cabo proyectos en todo el mundo, desde España hasta América Latina, Europa y África. Su obra se caracteriza por la combinación de colores vibrantes, tipografías llamativas y mensajes positivos que a menudo promueven la unidad, la diversidad y la reflexión.
Uno de los aspectos distintivos de Boa Mistura es su enfoque en la participación comunitaria. Trabajan en estrecha colaboración con las comunidades locales en las que intervienen, involucrando a los residentes en el proceso creativo y buscando inspiración en las historias y culturas locales. Esto ha llevado a la creación de murales y proyectos que tienen un impacto significativo en la vida de las personas y en la percepción de sus entornos.
